ONIKOLA CELEBRATES EID AL-ADHA, CHILDREN ‘S DAY; REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE-CENTERED LEADERSHIP 

As Muslims across Nigeria celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha festival, Chairmanship hopeful for Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Blessing Julius Onikola, popularly known as Honicos Omo Yin, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to residents of the constituency, praying for peace, unity, and prosperity in every home.

In his goodwill message, Onikola described Eid al-Adha as a sacred season that reflects the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and selflessness. He urged residents to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual support, and collective responsibility toward the development of Ibarapa Central.

According to him, the significance of the celebration goes beyond festivity, as it serves as a reminder of the importance of patience, service to humanity, and unwavering faith in the pursuit of a better society.

The chairmanship hopeful further reaffirmed his commitment to building a local government where every citizen matters and every community experiences meaningful development. He emphasized the need for purposeful and people-centered leadership capable of delivering progress, security, and opportunities for all residents.

“Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Ibarapa Central Local Government where the voices of the people remain the foundation of governance,” he stated.

Onikola also joined families and communities in celebrating Children’s Day marked annually on May 27, describing children as the pride of today and the future leaders of tomorrow. He encouraged children across the constituency to remain focused on their education, dream big, and uphold good moral values.

He added that continuous efforts must be made to create opportunities and an enabling environment that will allow young people to thrive and fulfill their potentials.

The aspirant concluded by praying that the festive season brings renewed hope, happiness, and countless blessings to every family across the constituency.
