HON. SHITTU LIASU OLOLADE MOURNS APC STALWART, ALHAJI OKELEYE OKEGBADE KABIRU, DESCRIBES HIS DEATH AS A GREAT LOSS

Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Okeleye Okegbade Kabiru, a respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ofiki Ward, describing his death as a painful loss to the party and the entire Ibarapa community.

In a condolence message, Hon. Ololade said he received the news of the elder statesman’s demise with profound sadness, noting that the late Alhaji Okeleye was a committed party leader whose dedication, wisdom, and selfless service contributed immensely to the growth and unity of the APC in Ofiki Ward and beyond.

According to him, the late APC stalwart, who hailed from Ajele’s Compound, Ayete, lived a life of honour, humility, and unwavering commitment to the progress of his community and the party. He also acknowledged the late leader’s educational background at Eko Agba, describing him as a man who valued learning, leadership, and service.

Hon. Ololade stated that Alhaji Okeleye’s legacy of integrity, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization would remain a source of inspiration to younger generations and members of the APC.

“The passing of Alhaji Okeleye Okegbade Kabiru is a painful loss, not only to his family but to the entire APC family and the good people of Ibarapa. He was a dependable leader, a father figure, and a man whose counsel and commitment to the party would be greatly missed. His contributions to the growth of our party and the development of our community will never be forgotten.”

He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives the shortcomings of the deceased, grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and gives his family, friends, political associates, and the people of Ayete, Ofiki Ward, and Ibarapa the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Hon. Ololade concluded by urging party faithful to uphold the virtues of unity, loyalty, and dedicated service exemplified by the late Alhaji Okeleye Okegbade Kabiru, stressing that his memory and contributions would continue to live on in the hearts of those he served.
