OLUBADAN CORONATION: HON. SHITTU LIASU OLOLADE HAILS OBA RASHEED LADOJA AS FATHER, MENTOR, AND ICONIC LEADER 

The former Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters and House of Representatives hopeful for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade, has congratulated the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja (Arusa I), on his coronation held today, Friday, September 26, 2025.

Ololade, who once served under Oba Ladoja as a member of the Oyo State Primary Education Board, described the coronation as a remarkable and historic moment for the people of Ibadan, both at home and in the diaspora.

He noted that Ibadan is blessed to have such an experienced, amiable, and incomparable monarch ascending the throne, emphasizing that Oba Ladoja’s wisdom and leadership have inspired his own political journey.

“His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adewolu Ladoja, is not only my political mentor but also a father figure. He is an honest leader who never disappoints his people. People like him are born leaders with a natural passion to defend their subjects,” Ololade stated.

He further described monarchy as a sacred institution reserved for rulers with the courage and compassion to protect their people.

While congratulating the Olubadan-in-Council, the sons and daughters of Ibadanland, as well as the entire people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large, Hon. Ololade hailed the emergence of Oba Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland as a blessing to the nation.
