As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha (Sallah), Engr. Dr. David Olusegun Okanlawon, Chairman of the Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation (OOF), has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah.

In a message released by his media aide, Adedokun Sunday Harshasha, Engr. Dr. Okanlawon emphasized the profound significance of Eid al-Adha, highlighting its timeless lessons of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith. He urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of unity, compassion, and generosity that defines this sacred period.

“On behalf of the Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation, I extend warm greetings to all Muslim faithful as we commemorate Eid al-Adha 2025. This auspicious occasion serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of devotion and the boundless rewards of selfless giving. It calls upon us to reflect on our blessings and to share with those who are less fortunate, fostering a stronger, more compassionate society.” said Engr. Dr. David Olusegun Okanlawon

The OOF Chairman called upon all citizens to use the Sallah celebrations as an opportunity to reinforce the bonds of friendship and brotherhood, transcending religious and ethnic divides. He stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect as fundamental pillars for national development and progress.

Engr. Okanlawon also seized the opportunity to pray for continued peace, stability, and economic prosperity for Ibarapa, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole. He reiterated OOF’s unwavering commitment to its mission of empowering communities and supporting the less privileged, reflecting the very essence of charity and goodwill that Sallah embodies.

“May the blessings of Eid al-Adha bring immense joy, peace, and prosperity to your homes. Barka da Sallah!” the foundation Chairman concluded.
