7TH YEAR ON THE THRONE ANNIVERSARY: OLU OF IGBO-ORA APPRECIATES WELL-WISHERS, ADVOCATE PEACE AND UNITY

The Olu of Igbo-Ora Land, Permanent Chairman, Ibarapa Central Traditional Council, and Deputy Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, Asoroolu Ayinla V, on  Monday, May 25, 2026, marked his 7th year on the throne with a special interfaith prayer session aimed at promoting peace, unity, and continued development in Igbo-Ora Land.

The spiritual gathering featured prayer sessions by Muslim clerics, Christian leaders, and traditional worshippers, all offering prayers for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Igbo-Ora and its people.

Speaking during the anniversary celebration, Oba Titiloye expressed profound appreciation to members of the Olu of Igbo-Ora-in-Council, palace chiefs, community leaders, political stakeholders, youths, and the entire sons and daughters of Igbo-Ora both at home and in the diaspora for their unwavering support, loyalty, and cooperation throughout the seven years of his reign.

The monarch noted that the achievements and stability recorded in Igbo-Ora during the period were made possible through collective efforts, unity, and the commitment of the people towards the development of the ancient town.

According to Kabiesi, “The journey of seven years on the throne has been one of service, sacrifice, and cooperation. I sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed in one way or another to the peace, growth, and development of Igbo-Ora Land, especially the Igbo-Ora Community Traditional rulers.”

The royal father further called on all indigenes and residents of Igbo-Ora to continue to embrace peace, love, and harmonious coexistence, stressing that unity remains the strongest foundation for sustainable development and communal progress.

He urged the people to desist from actions capable of causing division or disunity, while encouraging everyone to continually engage in activities that promote togetherness and strengthen communal bonds.

Kabiesi also extended heartfelt appreciation to well-wishers across the globe for their goodwill messages, prayers, and support, while praying for greater prosperity, divine blessings, and remarkable advancement for Igbo-Ora Land and its people.

The anniversary celebration further reflected the monarch’s enduring commitment to religious tolerance, cultural harmony, peaceful coexistence, and inclusive leadership.
