GTMIKE Meets Tapa Progressive Union Excos, Receives Encouraging Words on House of Reps Ambition

Gabriel Timileyin Micheal, popularly known as GTMIKE, the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, has held a meeting with the executives of the Tapa Progressive Union, where discussions centred on his political ambition and the need for purposeful representation in Ibarapa.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, 21st of October, 2026, was attended by all executive members of the union, providing an opportunity for GTMIKE to engage with community leaders and strengthen relationships with stakeholders in Tapa.

During the meeting, the union executives expressed their awareness of GTMIKE’s candidacy, revealing that they had been hearing about his political ambition since he began his campaign journey.

They conveyed their belief that the time was right for him to step forward and take on greater responsibilities in public service, expressing encouragement over his aspiration to represent the people of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North at the National Assembly.

The meeting reflected the importance of sustained engagement between political aspirants and community-based organisations in building mutual understanding and fostering development-oriented leadership.

In response, GTMIKE expressed appreciation to the executives for their warm reception, encouraging words, and willingness to engage with him on his political journey.

He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a strong relationship with the people and supporting initiatives that would promote the development and progress of Tapa and the wider Ibarapa region.
