GTMIKE Pledges First-year Scholarship, Feeding Support for Hon. Tunmininu at UI

Hon. Gabriel Timileyin Micheal, popularly known as GTMIKE and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for the Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, has pledged to sponsor the first-year educational expenses of Hon. Olanrele Tunmininu at the University of Ibadan, covering her acceptance fee, tuition fees, and feeding throughout her first year on campus.

GTMIKE made the pledge on Sunday, 18 October 2026, during a special engagement held at Brybos Hotel, where he joined other prominent personalities, business experts, media practitioners and academics to celebrate, encourage and support Hon. Olanrele Tunmininu, a former one-day chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, following her admission to the University of Ibadan.

The event attracted notable personalities, including Hon. Bosun Ibikunle, Asolo Daniel, Idris Adeseun, popularly known as Icon, Olori Wuraola, and Adejesubisi Akintola Amos, the business adviser, among others.

Speaking at the gathering, GTMIKE demonstrated his commitment to supporting education and youth development by pledging to cover Hon. Tunmininu’s acceptance fee, tuition fees, and feeding expenses throughout her first year at the University of Ibadan.

The gesture is aimed at easing the financial demands associated with beginning university education and enabling her to concentrate on her academic pursuits.

GTMIKE’s pledge also highlighted the importance of mentorship, encouragement, and collective investment in young people, particularly those striving to advance their education and develop their leadership potential.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the distinguished guests to offer advice, encouragement, and support to Hon. Tunmininu as she prepares to begin a new chapter of her academic journey.
