The APC Campaign Manager for Ibarapa North, Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade, has commended members of the Barrister Sharafadeen Alli (BSA) Youth Vanguard for their impressive mobilisation at a mini-rally held in Ayete/Tapa, describing the massive youth turnout as a positive sign for the party’s electoral prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ololade attended the rally on Saturday, September 17, 2026, where he applauded the youths for their initiative, commitment, and determination in organising a gathering aimed at strengthening support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He described the impressive turnout as evidence of growing political engagement among young people and expressed confidence that their dedication would contribute significantly to the party’s success in the forthcoming elections.

According to him, the future of the APC remains promising as long as young people continue to demonstrate commitment, unity, and determination to advance the party’s interests.

Addressing the participants, Ololade urged the youths to remain united, shun internal divisions, and work collectively towards achieving the party’s objectives.

He also encouraged them to extend their support beyond Barrister Sharafadeen Alli to all APC candidates contesting elective positions, stressing the importance of presenting a united front across all levels of government.

Ololade further expressed optimism about the APC’s chances in the forthcoming elections, arguing that the political situation in Oyo State could provide the party with an opportunity to strengthen its position and secure victories across the state.

He maintained that the massive turnout witnessed at the rally had reinforced his confidence in the party’s grassroots support, expressing optimism about a successful outing at the polls.

A major highlight of the gathering was the introduction of Alhaji Asimiyu, popularly known as Makashuku, who also addressed the youths and spoke on the importance of political commitment and party loyalty.

During his remarks, Makashuku urged party members and supporters not to entertain doubts about his allegiance to the APC, dismissing speculations suggesting that he was associated with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

He reaffirmed his commitment to the APC and called on members to disregard the rumours surrounding his political affiliation.
