TAYO AKINYEMI CELEBRATE MOGAJI RAHMON ALAWODE ON INSTALLATION AS MOGAJI OF IFATAYO-ALAWODE COMPOUND

A frontline Yoruba Youth advocate and public analyst, Prince Tayo Akinyemi has congratulated the National President, Yoruba Youths Council, Aare OloriOdo Mogaji Rahmon Akintunde Alawode, on his recent installation as the Mogaji of Ifatayo-Alawode Compound, Aremo, Ode Aje, Ibadan by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by Prince Tayo Akinyemi, he also celebrated Mogaji Alawode’s induction into the Association of Mogajis of Ibadanland.

Describing the honour as “well-deserved,” Tayo Akinyemi said the elevation is a testimony to Mogaji Alawode’s years of selfless service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Yoruba youths and the preservation of Yoruba custom and tradition.

“From your tenure as the former President, Yoruba Council of Youths (now Yoruba Youths Council), Oyo State Council, to your current position as National President, you have been a beacon of hope, a voice of reason, and a bridge between the younger generation and our elders,” the statement read.

Akinyemi noted that the new chieftaincy title is “not just a personal achievement, but a victory for all Yoruba youths who see in you a model of dignity, responsibility, and fidelity to tradition.”

On behalf of Yoruba Youths Council, Ibarapa council, he pledged its “total support, loyalty, and prayers” to the new Mogaji as he assumes the sacred duty of safeguarding the legacy of Ifatayo-Alawode Compound and upholding the revered Ibadan chieftaincy institution.

“May your reign bring peace, progress, and prosperity to Ifatayo-Alawode Compound, Aremo, and Ibadanland at large,” the message concluded.
