EULOGIES AS ADEPOJU HOST CONSTITUENTS WITH TOWN HALL MEETINGS

Bigwigs, Artisans and Traditional rulers within Ibarapa land has lauded the just concluded town hall meeting organised by the member representing Ibarapa Central and North federal Constuency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju (Ibarapa kan), today 21st December, 2023 at Ayete town hall, Ibarapa North Local Government, Oyo State.

SOME HAVE COME IN THE PAST WITHOUT STEWARDSHIP……Demola Ojo.

Speaking at the event, Oyo State Commissioner for Trade, Cooperative and Investment, Otunba Ademola Obafemi Ojo, while appreciating members of the constituents for believing in the party for voting Hon. Dr. Bayo Adepoju, praised the initiative of the law maker by breaking the jinx he described as a long term bondage. He described the town hall meeting as the first in the history of the Ibarapa Central and North constituency. According to Otunba Ademola Ojo : “This is the first it it’s kind in Ibarapa land, some have come in the past without stewardship, we appreciate Dr. Bayo Adepoju for this laudable initiative, we are now wiser than before”.

ADEPOJU HAS BROUGHT INNOVATION TO OUR CONSTITUENCY….. Funmilayo Orisadeyi.

In her own remarks, former Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Mrs Funmilayo Orisadeyi appreciated the law maker for what he has done since assuming office in the last six months and charged him to do more. According to her:

“Adebayo Adepoju has brought innovation to our federal constituency, the little he has done in the last six months is highly commendable”.

PROBE THE 200M MEANT FOR TAKE OFF OF FEDERAL COLLEGE OF SCIENCE, IGANGAN…..Majekodunmi Aborode

In the same vein, former Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Majekodunmi Aborode has urged Dr. Bayo Adepoju to probe the 200 Million naira claimed to have been himarked for the take off of the Federal College of Science, Igangan. According to him:

“You are doing well, but we want to get to the root of how the 200 million naira claimed to have been himarked for the take off of the Federal College of Science, Igangan. Through communal efforts, Igangan Community renovated the existing structure of Igangan High School for the take off and relocated the school, therefore, Igangan High School must be compensated, where the money landed must be probed”.

HELP REVISIT THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION BILL SPONSORED BY HON. MURAINA…..Onidere of Idere.

The town hall meeting was brought to laughter when the Onidere of Idere, Oba Kingsley Onikola pushed in the issue of proposed Federal College of Education, Idere Bill sponsored by former member representing the Constuency, Hon. Dr. Muraina Ajibola.

It will be recalled that the Bill was one of the Bills sponsored by the former law maker towards the tale end of his tenure. According to the Idere monarch :

” I want to thank Hon. Bayo Adepoju for giving us a good representation, but I also want to remind him of the Federal College of Education Bill sponsored by the former Hon. Muraina Ajibola, learnt it has entered a second reading, it must equally be pursued just like the Federal Medical Center Bill”

FINISH OUR ABANDONED POWER PROJECT…..Fakorede.

A former Vice Chairman, Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Sola Fakorede has equally called on Hon. Bayo Adepoju to help finish the abandoned Ibarapa power projects and urged him to on the success of the remaining bad portions of the Sokoto – Igboora Express road. He equally commended the law maker for the feedback through the Town Hall meeting.

WE HAVE BEEN DECIEVED THAT FIRST TIMERS ARE BENCH WARMERS.… Ogunjimi.

A former Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Solomon Ogunjimi has commended the several initiatives of Hon. Dr. Bayo Adepoju ranging from employment opportunities to highly impactful Bills he has been able to achieve within a short period of six months of assumption of office. According to Chief Ogunjimi:

“We have been decieved in the past that first timers are bench warmers, Adepoju has proved them wrong”.

MY BILLS ARE NOT AGAINST MURAINA… Adepoju

In his reaction, the lawmaker, Hon. Bayo Adepoju who described the town hall meeting as a non-partsan matter, appreciated the Constituents for believing in him through the ballot.

While reacting to opinions, he lauded the efforts of the former lawmaker representing the Constuency, Hon. Dr. Muraina Ajibola, for what he was able to achieve within his term. According to him:

“My Bill is not against Muraina, he did his best, but couldn’t make it accomplished. I have to continue from where he stop.”

Traditional rulers present at the town hall meeting include the Olu of Igboora, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, Onidere of Idere, Oba Kingsley Onikola, Asawo of Ayete, Asigangan of Igangan, Elempe of Tapa, Oluaso of Iberekodo, Babaaso of Igbole and Onisagaun who spoke in succession comended the law maker for his initiative and prayed for his success.

Questions and reactions ranges on Agriculture, Economy, Education, Rural electrification and Commendation which were answered by the lawmaker except the allegation of his unpatriotic attitude towards Ibarapa own media/Blogs.
