BIBIRE WOOS PDP REFORMERS IN APC, PLEDGES ACCOUNTABILITY, AND OPEN-DOOR REPRESENTATION

Hon. Olaoniye Sharafadeen, popularly known as Bibire, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, has engaged members of the PDP Reformers who have aligned with the APC, urging them to support all APC candidates in forthcoming elections and assuring them of accountable and people-oriented representation if elected.
The meeting, facilitated by Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade provided an opportunity for Bibire to interact with the group, appreciate their political commitment, and discuss their expectations for the future of the constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Bibire warmly welcomed the PDP Reformers into the progressive political fold and charged them to remain united and mobilise support for all APC candidates across the various elective positions.
He emphasised the importance of collective effort, party loyalty, and cooperation among members in pursuing the party’s political objectives.
In their response, members of the PDP Reformers expressed their readiness to support Bibire and other APC candidates, while appealing to the federal constituency candidate not to forget them if elected into the House of Representatives.
They stressed that their support and commitment to the party should be matched with continued engagement, recognition, and attention to their concerns after the elections.
The group underscored the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between elected representatives and grassroots party members, noting that political participation should extend beyond election periods.
Responding to their concerns, Bibire assured the group that he would remain accountable to both the people and the APC if elected as a member of the House of Representatives.
He pledged to maintain an open-door approach to leadership, assuring party members that he would remain accessible and responsive to their needs.
Bibire further encouraged members to invite him to their gatherings and meetings, describing such engagements as among the easiest ways for him to maintain direct contact with party members while occupying political office.
He also emphasised the importance of Hon. Ololade’s role in facilitating communication between him and grassroots supporters.
According to Bibire, party members who have access to Ololade should feel free to communicate their concerns and requests through him, assuring them that such a channel would help sustain their relationship with his office.
In a remark underscoring his confidence in Ololade as a point of contact, Bibire told the gathering that seeing Ololade was equivalent to seeing him, reinforcing his commitment to maintaining an accessible connection with the grassroots.
