OLOLADE MARKS NIGERIA’S 66TH INDEPENDENCE, GREETS IBARAPA LEADERS, CANDIDATES

The newly appointed All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Manager for Ibarapa North, Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade has extended warm Independence Day greetings to political leaders, candidates, stakeholders, and residents across Ibarapa as Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary

Ololade, in a goodwill message released to commemorate the national anniversary, congratulated leaders and candidates across Ibarapa, describing the occasion as an important moment for reflection on Nigeria’s journey since independence and the collective responsibility of citizens towards the nation’s continued development.

The APC Campaign Manager particularly acknowledged the roles played by political leaders and candidates in shaping the political landscape of Ibarapa while urging them to continue to prioritise peace, unity, and the interests of the people

According to him, political differences should not undermine the bonds of community, brotherhood, and shared aspirations among the people of Ibarapa.

“As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, I extend my heartfelt greetings to our distinguished leaders, political candidates, traditional rulers, stakeholders, and the good people of Ibarapa.

“This anniversary is a moment for us to reflect on our journey as a nation and renew our commitment to peace, unity, progress, and the development of our communities.

“As leaders and stakeholders, regardless of our political affiliations, we must continue to promote peaceful coexistence and put the interests of our people at the heart of our responsibilities.”

Ololade also extended his greetings to youths, women, farmers, professionals, business owners, and other residents across Ibarapa North and the wider Ibarapa region.

He called for continued constructive engagement among political actors and community stakeholders, stressing that peaceful participation and mutual respect remain essential to the growth and development of the region.

He further expressed optimism that Nigeria would continue to overcome its challenges and move towards greater prosperity while calling on citizens to remain committed to the nation’s progress.

He concluded by wishing all Nigerians, particularly the people of Ibarapa, a peaceful and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary.
