ADELEKE COMMENCES ELECTRICITY RESTORATION TO IBARAPA CENTRAL L.G. AFTER YEARS OF BLACKOUT

After years of total blackout that crippled businesses and social life, hope has finally returned to Ibarapa Central Local Government as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele, has commenced the restoration of electricity to the council area.

The affected communities in Igbo-Ora and environs have endured years of darkness, a situation that has adversely affected traders, artisans, small business owners, students and residents whose daily activities depend on power supply.

The ongoing intervention, when completed, is expected to reconnect all affected communities and breathe life back into the local economy.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Adeleke said the initiative demonstrates his administration’s resolve to tackle longstanding infrastructure challenges and provide practical solutions that directly improve the lives of the people.

According to him, electricity is vital to economic activities, education, healthcare delivery, security and the growth of small and medium scale enterprises.

He noted that restoring power will create a more conducive environment for residents to work, trade and pursue their livelihoods.

The Chairman expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his continued support for grassroots development and for creating an enabling environment for local government interventions across the state.
