The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), BCOS, continued its familiarisation outreach on Saturday, 22 November 2025, with a visit to the Eleruwa of Eruwa, HRM Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola (Ajobo-Olurin I).

Chairman Comrade Ademola Balogun and Secretary Gbemisola Adebayo led the Union’s delegation to the palace as part of efforts to build stronger engagement with traditional rulers and to exchange views on issues of collective interest.

Addressing the team, Oba Adegbola commended the Oyo State Government for its ongoing infrastructural interventions in Eruwa. He pointed to the reconstruction work within the township and the rehabilitation of the Ido–Eruwa Road as clear indications of sustained development under Governor Seyi Makinde.

The monarch described the governor as consistent and reliable, noting that his actions continue to reflect a leader committed to fulfilling his promises. He also expressed appreciation for the renovation work underway at the ancient Eleruwa Palace.

Oba Adegbola prayed for continued divine support for the governor, asking for the strength and capacity to achieve more for the people of Oyo State.
