Sekinat Adejuwon appointed Bursar, AOPE.

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Wednesday, December 18, 2025 approved the appointment of Mrs. Bolatito Sekinat Adejuwon as Bursar alongside the Rector, Dr.Jonathan Adedokun, and Mrs. Abosede Akintunde – Registrar as substantive principal officers of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.

Mrs. Bolatito Sekinat Adejuwon, a Deputy Bursar at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora is a financial expert whose wealth of experience has contributed immensely to the Institution having served in the various units which include: Expenditure Control, Reconciliation, Quality Control & Assurance Services and Chief Accountant at the Directorate of Part-Time and Preliminary Studies.

Mrs. Adejuwon hails from Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government area of Oyo State. She joined the services of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora in 2008 as an Accountant II where she rose to the position of Deputy Bursar in 2018.

The distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria holds MSc in Accounting from the University of Ibadan, Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc.) from Achiever’s University, Owo and National and Higher National Diploma from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

She had her Junior Secondary Education at Igboora High School and Senior Secondary Education at St Louis Grammar School Mokola, Ibadan. Her Primary education was at Adegoke Nursery and Primary School, Igboora.

Mrs. Adejuwon has a
20 conference attendance and published five research papers including four unpublished papers to her credit.

Her positive contributions outside the Institution included; Sister’s coordinator, Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Oyo State Chapter between 2008-2010,

She served as Treasurer to OYSCATECH, Muslim Community, 2009-2021 and Financial Secretary since 2021 to date.

She equally served as Auditor to the Interest Free Cooperative Investment and Credit Society between 2012-2020.

Mrs Adejuwon served in various committees, some of which include; Member, Health Management Committee, Member, Special Investigation Panel, Member, Staff Training and Development Committee, Member, Implementation Committee on College Sachet Water, Member, Board of Survey Committee , Member, Water Project Committee/ Board, Member, Promotion Examination Committee among others.

The newly appointed Bursar is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

She is married to Dr. Laja Adejuwon and the marriage is blessed with children.

Mrs. Adejuwon as an experienced and certified accountant remains a dynamic and hardworking woman who is doing the women folk proud.
