The Federation of Igboora Students’ Union (FISU) administration led by Comr. Akadri Quyum Adewale has formally expressed profound appreciation to Engineer Olusegun Okanlawon for sponsoring free JAMB registration slots for students across the Ibarapa axis.

In an appreciation letter dated February 14, 2026, and issued from the Union’s National Secretariat in Sagan-UN, Igboora, the leadership of FISU described the gesture as a timely and impactful intervention that has brought relief to numerous aspiring tertiary institution candidates and their families.

According to the statement, the sponsorship significantly reduced the financial burden associated with the registration process for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, thereby creating broader access to higher education opportunities for students within Ibarapa land.

The Union noted that beyond the financial assistance, the initiative has rekindled hope among young scholars and reinforced the importance of community-driven leadership in advancing educational development.

“This laudable initiative clearly reflects a strong commitment to youth empowerment, human capital development, and the promotion of academic excellence within Ibarapa,” the letter stated. “By investing in the educational pursuits of these students, Engr. Okanlawon has contributed meaningfully to the long-term socio-economic growth of our community.”

FISU further offered prayers for continued wisdom, strength, and prosperity for the benefactor, expressing optimism for more impactful initiatives that will uplift students across the Ibarapa zone.
