FAJIM Medicare Foundation, IPU Collaborate on Free Medical Outreach on World Cancer Day

The FAJIM Medicare Foundation, in partnership with Igboora Progress Union (IPU), organized a free medical outreach in Igboora, Oyo State, on February 14, 2026, in commemoration of World Cancer Day.

In a release signed by the IPU media officer, Tayo Akinyemi, dated 14th February, 2026, the event, held at the Igboora Town Hall, provided medical services to over 400 people, including screenings, consultations, and health education.

The foundation’s founder, Prof. Fatimah Abdulkareem, emphasized the importance of early detection and prevention of cancer, urging attendees to prioritize their health and attend qualified hospitals for routine check-ups.

The medical outreach featured specialists in various fields, including BMI, Hepatitis, Blood Pressure, Breast examination, Dental, and Optics. Hundreds of free drugs and glasses were also distributed to those in need.

IPU President, Pastor Alex Oladeji (JP), expressed appreciation to the FAJIM Medicare Foundation and attendees for their conduct, pledging to continue promoting the general development of Igboora community through the rebirth IPU.
