APC WARD 7 UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTS OLOLADE AS PREFERRED CANDIDATE FOR HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 7 in Ibarapa North Local Government has officially declared its full support for the candidacy of Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade for the House of Representatives seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was made public during the Ward 7 general meeting held at AUD 1 School, Ayete/Tapa, on Friday, April 2, 2026. Prior to the general assembly, the ward executives convened an early morning meeting where they collectively resolved to back Hon. Ololade’s aspiration.

Speaking at the meeting, the Ward Chairman announced that all 27 executive members of the ward unanimously adopted Hon. Ololade as their preferred candidate, describing him as the most qualified aspirant with the experience and leadership capacity needed to secure victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

The chairman further praised Ololade as a visionary and selfless leader whose track record in public service continues to inspire confidence among party members and the wider community.

In his response, Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade expressed deep appreciation to the ward executives, leaders, and members for their overwhelming support and trust in his leadership. He described the endorsement as both humbling and encouraging.

“I am sincerely grateful and delighted by this unanimous endorsement from all Ward 7 executives. Your support means a great deal to me,” he said.

He also acknowledged the strategic importance of Ward 7, describing it as the largest ward within the Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, and emphasized that the confidence reposed in him would further strengthen his resolve to serve the people diligently.
