2027: HON. MUSIBAU TAOFEEK ADEBARE DECLARES FOR OYO SOUTH SENATORIAL SEAT UNDER ACCORD PARTY

Hon. Musibau Taofeek Adebare has officially declared his intention to contest for the Oyo South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections on the platform of the Accord Political Party.

In a formal declaration made available for Asako Reporters on Saturday 17th of January 2026, Adebare stated that his decision to vie for the Senate was borne out of what he described as a “divine call” and extensive consultations with stakeholders across the district. He emphasized that his aspiration is anchored on a strong commitment to integrity, accountability, and dedicated public service.

The aspirant noted that his ambition goes beyond politics, stressing his desire to foster unity, promote inclusive development, and advance policies that will positively impact the lives of people across Oyo South Senatorial District.

“I am committed to working tirelessly for the progress, unity, and overall development of our communities,” Adebare said, while calling on residents, party members, and well-meaning stakeholders to support the vision.

He further appealed for prayers, cooperation, and collective support as he embarks on the political journey toward 2027, assuring the electorate of purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected.
