REWARDS OF LATE ALHAJI ATILOLA ADEDIGBA WILL ASSIST OUR PARENTS……3RD & 4TH RECIPIENTS

The Students of Muslim High School, Ayete and Ayete Grammar School, who came third and fourth at the just concluded Late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba FIBSA inter secondary school debate: Olagoke Alliat, Shittu Rofiat, Gasali Basit and Fatai Baaki has expressed joy and gratitude to the late Alhaji Atilola Adedigba family and organizers for the initiative, affirming that the gesture will not only promote education in Ibarapa region, but also support their parents.

This was disclosed at the handling over of cash donation of ₦250,000 to each of Muslim High School, Ayete and Ayete Grammar School who came third and fourth on Thursday, 9th October 2025 at Ayete.

Speaking on behalf of other Students, Miss Shittu Rofiat from Muslim High School in a joyful mood described the late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba as a rare gem whose legacies remained evergreen in the anals of education.

According to her: “We appreciate our teachers for impacting knowledge on us. We are equally grateful to the family of Late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba for supporting our parents with free WAEC, NECO and JAMB forms. It will go a long way assisting our Parents. Our father, Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba left an indelible legacy which lives in the good heart of the family. We pray for Allah’s Mercy on the special soul”.

In a separate reaction , the Principal of Ayete High School, Mr Olanrewaju Kafaru Bolanle in company of the PTA Chairman and parents offered a special prayer for the late Alhaji Adedigba and the organizer of the program. According to him : “It is a great honour seeing our Students performance at the final stage as well as recipients of the prestigious Adedigba family’s gesture. This will encourage other students to be hardworking and committed to their studies. We appreciate the Adedigbas and the FIBSA body”.

 

Mr Omotunmiba Rasheed, Principal, Muslim High School, Ayete lauded the Adedigba family’s efforts towards community development. He observed prayer for the repose soul of Late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba.

Speaking on behalf of the Adedigba family, Alhaji Tayo Akinyemi appreciated the Teachers and Parents for their joint efforts on the Students academic pursuit which reflected in their excellent performance. He presented the donation of ₦250,000 cash as pledge by the family during the competition in appreciating each of the six participating schools. He reintegrated the Adedigba family’s pledge to sponsor their WAEC, NECO, and JAMB examinations as soon as the registration begins. He added that the memorial program would now be an annual event as promised by the family.

In his message as at the event, the FIBSA President, Comrade Adeegbe Roqeeb emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between students’ unions and school authorities to ensure the success of future educational projects. He cautioned students not to use the opportunity as a means of pride but as motivation to excel academically.

Parent Teachers’ Association (PTA) representatives led by Deacon Farinto Oluwayemisi and Parents of the lucky students (Mr. Gasali, Mr. Fatai, Mrs Olagoke and Mr. Shitu) were also in attendance to grace the occasion.
