HON. OLOPADE JOHN MOURNS THE SUDDEN PASSING OF HON. DARE OJELERE

On Friday, July 25, 2025, the political landscape of Ibarapa Central Local Government was shaken by the heartbreaking news of the sudden death of Hon. Dare Ojelere, the immediate past Secretary of the council.

In an emotional tribute, Hon. Olopade John, former Secretary of Ibarapa North Local Government, expressed deep grief over the passing of his colleague, describing him as a young, active, and resilient man of honor, whose loyalty to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was unwavering in both words and deeds.

“I woke up to the heartbreaking news of the death of Hon. Dare Ojelere,” Hon. Olopade recounted. “He was exceptionally humble, calm, pious, and visionary. His dedication to the growth of our party and the progress of our people was unmatched.”

Hon. Olopade reminisced on their time in service together, referring to Dare as more than a political associate but a dependable brother and deeply resourceful companion.

“He would always tell me, ‘Hon. Olopade, don’t worry, everything will be alright. Let’s just remain loyal and humble to the party,’” he recalled.  “His approach to issues was progressive and sincere. He was a true believer in loyalty, service, and the power of humility.”

He emphasized that Dare’s passing is a significant loss to the entire Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency, and a deep wound to those who knew and loved him.

“Hon. Dare Ojelere came, saw, and conquered. He was a comrade, a leader, and a true patriot. His memory will remain evergreen in our hearts, Olopade concluded

He offered prayers for the deceased’s family, asking God to grant them strength and comfort.

“I pray that the Almighty grants his family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Adieu, my brother. We love you, but God loves you more. Rest in perfect peace.”
