HON. ILIASU SHITTU OLOLADE FELICITATES CHRISTIANS AT CHRISTMAS, CALLS FOR PEACE AND NATIONAL UNITY

A House of Representatives aspirant for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Hon. Iliasu Shittu Ololade, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christian faithful across Ibarapa land, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

In his Christmas message, Hon. Ololade described the season as a sacred period of love, hope, and divine closeness, emphasizing the significance of Christ’s birth as Emmanuel, God with us. He noted that the incarnation of Christ remains a powerful reminder of God’s love for humanity and a call for all to live in unity and compassion.

Quoting renowned poet Helen Steiner Rice, Hon. Ololade stated, “Peace on earth will come to stay when we live Christmas every day,” urging Nigerians to embrace the true values of Christmas beyond the celebration.

He offered prayers that this year’s Christmas would usher in peace, joy, comfort, improved security of lives and property, and abundant prosperity for individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole.

Hon. Ololade concluded by wishing Christians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in anticipation, reaffirming his commitment to a peaceful and united Nigeria.
