GOAL GETTERS CLUB DONATES NOTEBOOKS TO PUPILS IN IGBOORA
In a bid to support education at the grassroots, Goal Getter Club on Monday 22nd September 2025 distributed 200 notebooks to 50 pupils across five primary schools in Igboora, Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The beneficiary schools were Nawair-ud-Deen School 1, Ajegunle; Ansar-ud-Deen School 1, Sagaun; St. Michael Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) School, Pako; Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Basic School, Iberekodo; and Local Authority (LA) School 1, Idofin.

NUD SCHOOL 1 AJEGUNLE BENEFICIARIES
Leading the delegation was Prince Ogunjimi Samod Babatunde (Acting Chairman), supported by Mr. Babatunde Bori (Acting Secretary), Mr. Rafiu Muhammed Bolatito, Miss Ayantunde Kaosarat, and Mr. Ojeniyi Olayemi.

AUD SCHOOL 1 SAGAUN-UN BENEFICIARIES
The Head Teacher of Nawair-ud-Deen School 1, Ajegunle, welcomed the initiative and encouraged the club to sustain its efforts. Her counterpart at Ansar-ud-Deen School 1, Sagaun, equally commended the gesture but appealed for teacher empowerment, lamenting that despite being a government school, teachers still lacked essential materials such as chalk and notebooks for lesson preparation.

CAC BASIC SCHOOL 1 IBEREKODO BENEFICIARIES
The Head Teacher of St. Michael RCM School, Pako, offered prayers for the club’s continued progress and urged members not to relent in their service to the community.

RCM SCHOOL 1 PAKO BENEFICIARIES
At Local Authority School 1, Idofin, the Head Teacher expressed appreciation, while the Head Teacher of CAC Basic School, Iberekodo, conveyed deep gratitude to the club for remembering the pupils.

LA SCHOOL 1 IDOFIN BENEFICIARIES
Speaking on behalf of the club, Mr. Rafiu Muhammed charged the beneficiaries to make responsible use of the notebooks. “These books are provided to make learning easy, not to be torn or used as toys. The club will return to supervise and ensure they are being put to good use,” he said.
The pupils expressed appreciation and pledged to make effective use of the notebooks.
The initiative, according to the club, forms part of its ongoing community development programme to encourage learning and support less privileged pupils.
